Fire-resistant particleboard (PB FR) is a three-layer particleboard type P2 with improved fire-retardant properties. Boards with fire-retardant properties are manufactured according to the European standard EN 312 type P2.According to the European classification (EN 135011) type Bs1, d0 is covered and according to the German classification (DIN 4102) class B1 is covered. For better differentiation from all other particleboards with normal fire resistance properties, the fire-resistant particleboard PB FR is color-coded with a red pigment.
