Fire-resistant fiberboards (MDF FR) are non-load-bearing boards with improved fire-retardant properties and are manufactured according to the European standard EN 6225 where they are defined as boards for general use in dry conditions. Fire-resistant fibreboards (MDF FR) are increasingly used mainly in public areaswhere strict fire safety regulations must be observed. The boards meet strict requirements that include improved fire resistance and in particular the ability to not contribute to the spread of fire and do not form sparks. According to the EN 135011 standard, the boards are classified as Bs2, d0 in terms of their reaction to fire. The boards are produced with red colored fibers in their basic form.
